On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, SAISUA (the Support Association for International Students of the UoA) held the Welcome Party for new students enrolling in April. There were 121 participants including faculty and staff members, and international/Japanese students.

Mr. MUNASINGHE Tenshi (2th year undergraduate student), and Ms. MAEHARA Uta (2rd year undergraduate student) took the role of the MC for the event.
At the beginning of the party, President Tsukahara and Prof. Ben ABDALLA gave their welcome remarks. Then, new students representing from each country introduced themselves to everyone. After some free time, all participants played bingo, and those who successfully completed a bingo card were presented with prizes. The participants enjoyed food and became close friends. Finally, Prof. LE (SAISUA President) gave a speech welcoming new students again.

We plan to hold the Welcome Party for new students enrolling in October.
